My name is Md. Hedayetul Islam Chy. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University, where I work under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun since Spring 2026. I also serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Engineering Technology.

Previously, I completed my Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Chittagong under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Arif Iftakher Mahmood . My research interests broadly span Cyber-Physical Systems, Intelligent Automation, Trustworthy AI, Computer Vision, and Bio-inspired Engineering.
